Day 26: June 2nd 2013

Standard

I was so lame today, I didn’t take any pictures…I was out of it…trying to relax and just slacking off everywhere else! I did spend most of my day on the couch watching the new season of Arrested Development and now I am sad it’s over! I should have spread those out a bit more.

Husband made the best salsa so I filled up on that for lunch!

Since I was WAY too lazy to actually go for a run I decided the run in place for 10 minutes…which is about what it takes me to run a mile so I figured that was equivalent…I think it was cause I am SO sore today…my calves are on fire!

Made tacos and had a few beers, it was very yummy. So yummy I ate it all before I could snap a photo!

Day 22: May 29th 2013

What a slacker! It is Monday the 3rd and I have not blogged since last Tuesday, that is almost a week! No bueno…you would understand if you knew the week I had. I have been going through some work issues and as a result have slipped into an unnecessary haze of depression and still to this day I cannot snap out of it. I am trying very hard to not let my emotions get the best of me…but it has proven to be a difficult task thus far.

Well here goes, a quick run down of the days of posts that I am behind in…

Didn’t do any other workouts tonight, no time had big dinner plans with my beautiful Mom, Grandma and Auntie.

I had such a wonderful and late evening spent with my family, it was so nice to have dinner cooked for me and to relax and chat…I didn’t want to go home!

Ahhhh! Tuesday…a good day and since I was so busy it went by fast! I was really looking forward to my run today so I couldn’t wait to leave work.

Started my day with my usual hot lemon water…made my mid afternoon snack smoothie…

Day 20: May 27th 2013

Monday! No work today, this is the best day ever!

Woke up, had some cherries for breakfast and then went for a little run…

I started a new challenge today…

1 Mile Run…actually a little longer than that, but who’s keeping track?

Did a pretty intense but short weights and ABS workout.

Oh and on my morning run I ran into this little(actually big) guy, he is a lab/pit?? brindle mix and he is so sweet, he must be pretty young still, cause his teeth are so clean and pretty and his temperament is pretty immature.

I posted him and Craigslist and haven’t heard anything all day, I can’t believe someone would lose this little guy!

Had to bring the cat inside, cause they did not get along at all, but it was nice to have a little cuddle time with this guy, he is strictly and outdoor cat so I enjoyed out time together!

Day 19: May 26th 2013

Awe…a wonderful Sunday and the best part about it? I don’t have to go to work tomorrow! Woo Hoo!

Had a cup of coffee for breakfast and then spent the day with this little guy…

My precious nephew, this little man is so full of life. He is so happy and loving, he melts my heart! And his mommy is such a wonderful first time mommy, I love seeing her love and care for him!

I was in the mood to make some salsa, I found this copy-cat recipe for El Pollo Loco’s  Avocado Salsa…it turned out so good, email me for the organic recipe (Which is just as good, if not better!)

A beautiful evening walk at Mt. Rubidoux, and then shopping at my favorite spot, Trader Joe’s. It was a lovely way to end my Saturday!

Still behind on posting…my week has been filled with a ton of extra issues I was not expecting and it through me off a bit! Today was actually a good day considering…

No breakfast today. just lemon water and coffee. (I haven’t had my smoothie all week if anyone is keeping track-FAIL)
