Day 48: June 24th 2013

Standard

Breakfast

Had my usual Hot Lemon Water…but after…I had coffee. A tall soy latte. I’m not gonna lie…it was good.

Then had my smoothie.

Then fasted through the rest of the morning.

Lunch

Spinach, Tomatoes and Red Bell Peppers and some beautified water with Cucumber, Strawberries and Blackberries.

Workout

Weights(Arms) I did this until my arms felt like jelly.

Dinner

Another smoothie for din din…and for desert a little study time and ‘Smooth Move’ Just a little cleansing.

Day 47: June 23rd 2013

Meat Day. I have not had chicken on my meat day in over 4 months. I am so weird-ed out by chicken I just cannot eat it anymore…but let me tell you…the Trader Joe’s all organic chicken is wonderful. It is amazing what whole, natural chicken tastes like. So yummy. I savored this meat day. Oh the sauce is my homemade buffalo sauce, Olive Oil, Garlic, Rice Vinegar, 21 Seasonings(from TJ’s) and of course Red Hot.

Not looking forward to work tomorrow.

Okay…started my day off right with my ‘Super Smoothie’ BUT for whatever reason this day turned into a mega cheat day…

Broke my morning fast and my no coffee rule today. (FYI, that disgusting cinnamon role made me sick to my stomach, that’s what happens when you don’t eat dairy forever and then suddenly do. YUCK.)

Okay, this is a bad one. The sandwich was mostly good, not sure about the bread but the veggies and avocado were good…the chips, not so much and the worst…I am so embarrassed…A DIET COKE!!?? With all the preaching I do about this poison, I drank one…well not really I think I had a quarter of it and then tossed it feeling nothing but regret.

It keeps getting better with the cheating doesn’t it? Notice how I put this under the ‘Workout’ section? Well…I didn’t workout. (Shame.)

Dinner

No dinner tonight for me. After this major cheat day, I was not hungry at all. Go figure.

I guess we are allowed these every once in awhile, but my personal opinion…it just isn’t worth it. I just get too thrown off of my regimen and I don’t like it.

My new ‘Power’ Smoothie

Ingredients:

(Everything measured by feeling)

Celery

Carrots

Blackberries

Kale

Chia Seed

Hemp Protein Powder

Cinnamon

1/2 Banana

Flax-seed Oil

Lemon Juice (half)

Blend well and drink immediately.

Let me tell ya, this thing is AMAZING! So good and no sugar (other than the natural sugar in the berries and banana) It gave me so much energy, especially for a Monday. I am still fasting through breakfast but drinking this puppy in the morning to set my day up right!

Day 19: May 26th 2013

Awe…a wonderful Sunday and the best part about it? I don’t have to go to work tomorrow! Woo Hoo!

Had a cup of coffee for breakfast and then spent the day with this little guy…

My precious nephew, this little man is so full of life. He is so happy and loving, he melts my heart! And his mommy is such a wonderful first time mommy, I love seeing her love and care for him!

I was in the mood to make some salsa, I found this copy-cat recipe for El Pollo Loco’s  Avocado Salsa…it turned out so good, email me for the organic recipe (Which is just as good, if not better!)

As you may have noticed or guessed, I did not work out today…too busy cooking some good stuff…gonna have some yummy lunches this week!
