Started my Skinny Me Tea(Australia) 14-Day Detox today. It was hard to swallow the leaves, but other than that the tea is great! Looking forward to my results.

Also had my Super Smoothie, Hot Lemon Water and Green Tea.

Veggie salad with a bell pepper from my garden, it may be little, but it was good!

Afternoon Snack

Needed a pre-workout snack today, I was starving. Got a good intake of turmeric with all that mustard!

I would like to state for the record that I believe that I am finally coming around the corner with this weight-loss fiasco I got myself into. It’s time for some serious results, I know change doesn’t happen overnight, but I slowly feel myself changing. Down 7 pounds since July 16th. Doin’ It!

Toxic Health Challenge: Day 17-Eat Organic

It’s as simple as that, eat clean and eat organic. Organic produce is not filled with pesticides and chemicals and is grown clean. If you can buy locally that is even better. Support local farmers, big business is slowly killing off local farmers and it just isn’t right. People always say to me that eating organic is too expensive, I always tell them that it’s worth it to spend a little more now than to spend that money on medical bills later in life! Plus let’s be honest apples to apples organic is really not THAT much more expensive. I did price comparisons a few months back and I spend about $0.75-$1.00 more per item for organic. I say it’s worth it.

The Wonderful Benefits of Chlorophyll

My new obsession: Chlorophyll

We all know it as the ‘green from plants’ but I bet you didn’t have any idea it would actually be good for you. It is found in wheatgrass, of course, so you wheatgrass fanatics like myself can rest assured, you are getting it from that, but I am thinking about incorporating more of it into my diet. In liquid form, need to do a little bit more research on whether or not you can ingest too much Chlorophyll, I don’t wanna ‘OD’ on Chlorophyll. 🙂

The benefits are just so amazing, I can’t get enough.

Toxic Health Challenge: Day 16-Natural Flavors

That is quite a mouth-full I know, but it is so important to understand. I only showed the USDA’s definition…now here is mine…Natural Flavors are found in most processed foods, these ‘flavors’ are made in a lab by blending the natural and synthetic chemicals together to enhance taste. Although it may be derived from the natural source it is severely tampered with to mimic a certain taste. YUCK! Food companies are not required to list the individual ingredients and why would they want to? It would be a long list of terrible chemicals and additives. So don’t be fooled, stay away from any foods that have the words’Natural Flavors’ on them…it’s a lie.

I have had these little beauties in my pantry for a few weeks now, finally got around to trying them and they are yummy. I really like them, not sure hoe absolutely nutritional they are, but I like em’.

So I started this 5-Day Workout Plan, by Nikki Sharp @staysharpbestrong | IG Day 1 kicked my butt, like for real, I was seriously exhausted, but I feel stronger today and I know this plan is gonna be great for me. I am actually looking forward to tonight (Day 2) it’s gonna be a kicker! If you are looking for a good kick in the butt go buy this Digital Book, it has amazing tips and info, it is so worth the $8.00, which is practically nothing anyways. Do it.

Okay so I am so excited about my dinner tonight. I get so bored with my usual Vegan dishes I was desperate for a change. I have always loved mushrooms and I never eat them so I bought a big pack the other day and last night I finally threw an impromptu dish together. I was very easy, I cut up my mushrooms, put some rice oil, onion and garlic in a pan let it sizzle a bit and then threw in my mushrooms, browned them and then threw them over a bed of noodles, added a little salt an WahhhhLaaahhhh! The best meal I have had in a very long time, easy, filling and plain yummy. Oh and of course my artichokes dipped in lemon, garlic and olive oil. Oh my, I think I might have the same thing again tonight.

Made some very ‘green’ themed enchiladas. Organic Chicken, Tomotillo/Avocado Green Salsa, topped with Green Onions and Anaheim Chili’s. Plain but surprisingly yummy.
