Breakfast
Super Smoothie-Doesn’t it look good? More greens to fruit ratio is the way to go!

Had my yummy glass of Hot Lemon Water.
Lunch
Had a BBQ at work today, since I couldn’t really eat anything I just ate the pasta salad and watermelon that I made. (Forgot to take a picture)
Dinner
Got home and I was exhausted from being in the sun all day, I had a taco and then went to bed. No workout again, tomorrow is a new day!

Day 56: July 2nd 2013
Breakfast
My very first Wheatgrass shot! I have been studying and reading up on wheatgrass lately and I am convinced this is a wonder food, a super food and I am so glad to be on this bandwagon. Don’t love the taste so much, but I LOVE the way it makes me feel. Energized and awake and just plain good.

Lunch
Had a salad and some cucumber water while studying at lunch today.
Went shopping after work and stocked up on my new obsession. Thank you Sprouts! (I will be growing my own wheatgrass very soon, but until then I am glad I have Sprouts to cater to my new obsession.)
Workout
Took the day off today, I had so much to do this evening. I was a little overwhelmed so I took a guilt-free night off.

Toxic Health Knowledge: Day 1 – Aspartame
You know me and challenges! I love them!
I started an Instagram challenge yesterday, it’s not so much a challenge…I guess…it’s more of a platform of knowledge and I encourage feedback. Let’s get talking people! What you do not know could hurt you. Ask questions! When I first started on this clean eating/Vegan journey it was overwhelming (and still is) it is so difficult to read ingredients on the foods we buy and actually understand what we are purchasing. So I always found it easier to take it one chemical (ie additives, poison, toxins, etc.) at a time…
So, each day for the next 30 days or so I will do a daily post on Instagram(and probably here too) of the definition and side effects of the chemicals that are put in our food. One chemical each day.
It’s important that we understand what is in our foods, we really are what we eat and why wouldn’t you want to know what you are ingesting. This may get a little disheartening, but just know that there are options and you have a choice to eat clean and grad hold of your health.

The usual Hot Lemon Water and my Super Smoothie and morning teas.
Lunch
The only thing I took a picture of today and it is nothing to be proud of, forgot my lunch so had a veggie burrito with no beans. (Cause most beans are cooked in pork fat, YUCK.)
Workout
Gym Run (2 Miles)
Dinner
I had a small salad, but that was it. A bad food day for me.
I’m so glad it’s Friday.

Workout
That’s right, I finally work up early and on time and did a little Jillian Michaels and some Yoga. It was lovely.

Chips and Mustard, Spinach, Tomatoes, Red Bell Peppers and Blackberries

Day 48: June 24th 2013
Breakfast
Had my usual Hot Lemon Water…but after…I had coffee. A tall soy latte. I’m not gonna lie…it was good.
Then had my smoothie.
Then fasted through the rest of the morning.
Lunch
Spinach, Tomatoes and Red Bell Peppers and some beautified water with Cucumber, Strawberries and Blackberries.
A little afternoon detox.
Workout
Weights(Arms) I did this until my arms felt like jelly.
Dinner
Another smoothie for din din…and for desert a little study time and ‘Smooth Move’ Just a little cleansing.

Breakfast
Strawberries and Bananas with some OJ. (FYI…always try to eat your fruits separate from other foods…oh dang…this is too much to explain. I will do a blog on fruit and digestion ASAP.)
Lunch
Veggie Pot-stickers cooked in Olive Oil(Not my fav.)
Workout
A nice evening hike with my love, Zuk.
Dinner
Meat Day. I have not had chicken on my meat day in over 4 months. I am so weird-ed out by chicken I just cannot eat it anymore…but let me tell you…the Trader Joe’s all organic chicken is wonderful. It is amazing what whole, natural chicken tastes like. So yummy. I savored this meat day. Oh the sauce is my homemade buffalo sauce, Olive Oil, Garlic, Rice Vinegar, 21 Seasonings(from TJ’s) and of course Red Hot.
Not looking forward to work tomorrow.
