This one happens to be my favorite, but usually I start every morning with a Detox Tea then Cranberry THEN Green Tea. (I may have a drinking problem.)

P.S. I have not had coffee in 5 days now. (I cannot believe it)

Chips and Guacamole Salsa, and a very weird sandwich: Mustard, Artichoke Hearts, Olives, Green Bell Peppers, Tomato, Onion and Jalapeno…it was surprisingly good!

Oh and I had my late afternoon/before my run smoothie!

Day 34: June 10th 2013

You may know that I have decided to give up coffee, I drink way too much of it and to make matters worse I cannot drink it without cream, which is a total contridiction since I try to be as Vegan as possible.

Well, even though I did not have coffee at all this weekend I was dying today! I was so exhausted and just craving it bad, didn’t help that I was slightly hung over and it was a Monday. It was a difficult day without coffee, but I survived. I may reward myself with a cup a week, but I have not decided yet.

Woke up and went for a nice slow run in my old neighborhood. It was nice.

Since we were in the area we were able to go shopping at our favorite natural foods store Sprouts

Got our favorite whole wheat tortillas, some seasonings that cannot be found anywhere, Chia Seed, Wheatgrass, some Berries and Apples. I always get so happy when I shop for food, natural food anyway, it is such a ‘high’ for me!

I thought I was going to die with this one…I barely made it. My calves are so sore from running in place on Sunday I felt like I had 20 pounds on my back. I almost collapsed after I was done. I did not do any other workouts today because I was so sore I could hardly walk, figured my body needed a little rest!

Day 22: May 29th 2013

What a slacker! It is Monday the 3rd and I have not blogged since last Tuesday, that is almost a week! No bueno…you would understand if you knew the week I had. I have been going through some work issues and as a result have slipped into an unnecessary haze of depression and still to this day I cannot snap out of it. I am trying very hard to not let my emotions get the best of me…but it has proven to be a difficult task thus far.

Well here goes, a quick run down of the days of posts that I am behind in…

Didn’t do any other workouts tonight, no time had big dinner plans with my beautiful Mom, Grandma and Auntie.

I had such a wonderful and late evening spent with my family, it was so nice to have dinner cooked for me and to relax and chat…I didn’t want to go home!

Ahhhh! Tuesday…a good day and since I was so busy it went by fast! I was really looking forward to my run today so I couldn’t wait to leave work.

1 Mile Run…actually a little longer than that, but who’s keeping track?

Did a pretty intense but short weights and ABS workout.

Oh and on my morning run I ran into this little(actually big) guy, he is a lab/pit?? brindle mix and he is so sweet, he must be pretty young still, cause his teeth are so clean and pretty and his temperament is pretty immature.

I posted him and Craigslist and haven’t heard anything all day, I can’t believe someone would lose this little guy!

Had to bring the cat inside, cause they did not get along at all, but it was nice to have a little cuddle time with this guy, he is strictly and outdoor cat so I enjoyed out time together!
