Hello Beautiful People.
Yesterday I had a little fun and made some Kale Chips, Salt & Vinegar Style and let me tell you…can you say yummy? Oh and SUPER easy to make.
Ingredients:
(Organic if you can.)
– Kale (I used the pre-cut Kale, but you can use stem Kale as well, just cut off most of the stems so that you get more of the leaf, this will make the ‘chips’ taste that much more like chips.  – Sea Salt  – Apple Cider Vinegar (Or Rice Vinegar, but Apple Cider Vinegar has WAY more nutrients to it than the Rice Vinegar. Either way it’s your call.)  – Olive Oil (Try to use regular Non-Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Extra Virgin can actually become toxic when cooked at high temperatures.)  – Cayenne Pepper (Optional) (I am obsessed with spicy food, so I thought it would be good to give my ‘chips’ a little spice.) ÂNow let’s make it:
1. Pre-Heat over at 300 degrees
2. Mix ingredients in a bowl, be sure that all of the Kale is pretty well saturated. I do not measure anything when I cook, I always go off of feeling…it’s weird, but it works for me!
3. Spread the Kale evenly on a baking sheet of your choice.
4. Bake for about 10 minutes
5. You will know when they are done, they feel crunchy and look cooked
Done.
I was a little hesitant to try these because I love raw Kale so much…but let me tell ya, they taste exactly like Salt & Vinegar Chips…no joke.
I wanna know your thoughts on Kale chips, if you have tried them before let me know what you think and any other fun recipes to try. Leave a comment below.
Here’s to a beautiful Wednesday!
